Dean’s 2023 State of the School address available online
April 1, 2024
A message from David H. Perlmutter, MD, executive vice chancellor for medical affairs and dean of Washington University School of Medicine.
Each year, it is an honor for me to deliver the State of the School address, so everyone can see — across departments and missions — what makes Washington University School of Medicine unique and a leader in academic medicine. As I reflect on the current State of the School, I’m filled with awe and admiration for all that the WashU Medicine community has accomplished. Each individual part of our community contributes to an incredible whole.
I invite you to watch my address on the 2023 State of the School of Medicine. And I hope that all of you who are part of our School of Medicine community take as much pride as I do in your colleagues and the incredible work all of you do here every single day.
