Fall safety demonstrated May 3

Dummy will fall from bridge between Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children's hospitals

About 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, the Campus Renewal Project safety team will demonstrate the importance of construction workers wearing fall-protection gear and having a rescue plan.

A human-sized dummy wearing a safety harness will fall from the bridge connecting Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals. The dummy, in a proper safety harness, will hang in place until “rescued.” BJC media services will video the event.
