Nancy Bloom, an associate professor of physical therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has received the Henry O. and Florence P. Kendall Practice Award from the American Physical Therapy Association.

This award honors individuals who have positively and substantially affected the shape, scope and quality of physical therapy practice, and demonstrated significant contributions to the profession through clinical practice.

She also guides colleagues in publishing clinical findings and contributes to research, literature and professional presentations pertaining to hip problems in physical therapy practice. In addition, she teaches continuing education courses about movement system impairment syndromes.
